We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender law enforcement professionals.

Our Mission Is To

Create a greater awareness of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender professionals working in law enforcement and to support those pursuing a law enforcement career.

What We Do

We provide scholarships to law enforcement recruits who are "out" as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, or a straight ally and who are outstanding role models for their fellow professionals.

July 1, 2010 - We are putting together a coffee table picture book with images of working law enforcement professionals who identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or transgender. Anyone working in law enforcement is welcome to participate, sworn or civilian, full time or part time. Just send us one to four pictures of yourself on the job. All of the proceeds from the the sale of this book will go toward our scholarship program. CLICK HERE to learn more.

June 20, 2010 - Summer Pride Season Fund Raiser! Help us today raise $10,000 by September 1st to fund our next four rounds of scholarships. We need your contribution in order to support 10 deserving students working to become future law enforcement officers in your community. Out To Protect Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. All donations made to Out To Protect are fully tax deductible. We are a recognized and registered public benefit corporation. Our goal is to give out 90% or more of every donated dollar in the form of scholarships for GLBT students wishing to attend a law enforcement academy in the United States. We also plan to explore other related projects intended to increase the awareness of the many hard working professionals in law enforcement who happen to be gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender

Our scholarship program supports individuals who demonstrate the kind of attributes that are important for every future law enforcement officer. Hopefully these are values you share. You can demonstrate your commitment by making a donation in whatever amount is comfortable for you. This is the best and most valuable way to join our effort.

How would you like to have a scholarship given in your name? Donate $1000 or more as an individual or on behalf of your company or organization and we will name that scholarship after you. A donation of this size will help a law enforcement student complete a basic training program and to serve a community near you.
